Wayyaanee [Ethiopian] Troops Murdered 2 Oromo Civilians in Cold Blood in Harargee

(OLF News, December 15, 2008) The Wayyaanee [Ethiopian] invading army, which considers the Oromo people its number one enemy that can threaten its power, is reported to have killed two Oromo nationals in Western Harargee zone around a place known as Saaqqataa. An Oromo elder and nationalist Mr. Ahmed Adam was shot dead by the terrorist Ethiopian [Wayyaanee] troops on December 1, 2008. Mr. Ahmad Adam, 68, was killed because he was accused of supporting the Oromo Liberation Front, OLF. Our reporters added that another Oromo nationalist whose name was not yet known was also shot dead at the same place and his body was left for the wild animals in the field.

It is to be recalled that OLF News has reported on November 16, 2008 that at least 13 Oromos have been brutally killed by the TPLF regime under the pretext of having connections with the OLF in Northern Oromia, Walloo zone, Sambatee district.

It is also to be recalled that OLF News has reported the intensified wave of mass arrest of Oromo nationalists, in the months of November and December alone, at least on the following occasions: on 12/12/2008, 12/08/2008, 12/04/2008, on 11/24/2008, on 11/20/2008, on 11/12/2008, on 11/18/2008, on 11/14/2008, on 11/12/2008, on 11/11/2008, on 11/08/08, on 11/06/08, and on 11/02/08. In addition to these mass arrests, OLF News has also reported a shocking killing of 13 Oromo farmers in Northern Oromia on 11/17/2008. To learn more about these mass arrests, visit our website at http://www.oromoliberationfront.org/index.htm.
It has to be noted that OLF reporters have reported all of these widespread arrests and killings under difficult circumstances where anyone, particularly any one suspected of reporting or having any contact with OLF News, is under a strict surveillance of the government "security" forces. The point here is that, the mass arrest that is actually taking place in Oromia is much higher than our reporters are able to reach and have currently reported.
